Mid-States Express closes doors

Mid-States Express, based in Fond du Lac, has closed its doors.
The trucking company employs 525 company-wide, said David Yarbarough, an employee at Mid-States corporate offices in Aurora, Ill. About 18 people are employed in the Fond du Lac office, said a woman who answered the phone here.
“Basically the bank pulled our line of credit and the ownership was forced to file bankruptcy,” he said.
The Fond du Lac office notified employees Thursday that is was closing its doors that day and they should not report to work.
