Triple fatal accident backs up NJ Turnpike

A triple fatal accident on the New Jersey Turnpike is causing a huge backup this afternoon in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

NJ State Police are on the scene of a 10-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer that has claimed the life of three people and has sent at least three others to area hospitals.

It happened at around 1:00 p.m. today in the southbound lanes of the NJ Turnpike at mile maker 34, near exit 4.

All southbound lanes are blocked at this time and traffic is being diverted off the turnpike.
