Memphis’ Love’s Travel Stops opens tire care center

Posted on : 27-05-2009 | By : Truckdriversnews | In : Truck Stops, truck driver Industry

Professional truck drivers making the haul through Memphis and along Interstate 40 can get a little more help as Love’s Travel Stops has extended its service partnership with Michelin Americas Truck Tires.

The Memphis Love’s location at 3371 Lamar is the 25th truck tire care service location to open after it signed an agreement with Michelin in May 2008.

Truck drivers will have access to Michelin truck tires and Love’s on-site and emergency roadside service along I-Ȉ from Memphis to Tucumcari, N.M. This service started on May 25.

“Since we began offering Michelin tires, emergency roadside assistance and on-site tire care service at our travel stops last year, the response from customers has been very positive,” Frank Love, president of Love’s Operating Cos., said in a statement. “Our customers are discovering this new service while taking advantage of the value and convenience we provide.”

Love’s also added this service on Interstate 20 from Shreveport, La. to Abilene, Texas and Interstate 35 from Tonkawa, Okla. to Ardmore, Okla.
