A survey shows Americans DONT want Mexican Trucks in the US.
Two out of three Americans oppose allowing Mexican trucks on U.S. highways and
more than half want to keep “Buy American” provisions in the federal stimulus program.A new national survey by Rasmussen Reports shows 66 percent of those questioned oppose allowing Mexican trucks on U.S. roads.
The North American Free Trade Agreement calls for trucking lanes to be opened up in the U.S., Mexico and Canada to trucks beyond the traditional border crossings. Full Story
All I can say is it is about time people wake up to this ridiculous idea. Mexican trucks are dangerous let alone their drivers. People need to contact your elected officials and tell them YOU DO NOT want Mexican Trucks operating in the US.
