Well, if you are looking for a “big CB Radio” let me suggest to you the Galaxy Dx 98VHP.
This is one bad ass radio! I bought mine back last December, and had it installed in a 2008 Volvo 6 axle dump truck. The radio is huge, and weighs a lot, so we had to “fabricate” a [...]

I have been driving a tractor trailer for about 10+ years. I am a member to many CB Radio Forums, also a lot of Truck Driver Forums.
I see and get this question all the time, so I thought I would try and answer it here.
You made it through truck driving school, now you need a CB Radio? OK, first [...]

I think this is a dying breed that truckers are going to have to deal with in the future. Oh yea, you can find a “hack shop” out on the road at many truck stops. But, they basically do nothing but charge really high prices. I only know of one “good” CB Radio Repair Shop, and the owner [...]

I have owned and operated many CB Radio’s in my lifetime. But, this radio is probably the best radio I have owned for a long time.
Features include Ꮀ channels, adjustable echo/re verb, on/off talk back and more. The cool part is the built in linear amplifier. This linear amp, is well designed, and works GREAT. The circuit board [...]

308 Around the Golden Gate
Posted by Jason Cox on March 12, 2008
We are being tormented (probably unintentionally) by a CB radio operator who calls himself “308 Around the Golden Gate.” We receive him on the telephone, we hear him on the stereo, and even on the computer speakers.
Not only is he loud, he’s boring. Today he just kept saying, “Hellllo, Heeellllllllllloooooo, Helllllllllllllllllooooooooooo” over and over again, [...]
