Hudson — Drivers will get one more week before they’ll need to take a detour around Boston Mills Road, which will be closed at state Route 8.
Originally slated to close June 12, the Ohio Department of Transportation postponed the closing date to June 19.

Part of I-64 closed following Chesapeake officer’s shooting

Police blocked off part of Interstate 64 near U.S. 17 late this afternoon where a city police officer was shot.
Chesapeake City Manager William Harrell said an officer was shot while Chesapeake police were assisting in a pursuit that began in Norfolk.
“The fact that he’s talking is a good sign,” Harrell said of the officer.
