The world’s largest truck show will stay in Louisville, KY. for at least ten more years. The producers of the truck show agreed to keep it in Louisville through 2020. It was reported by courier-journal.com an online news site for Louisville, and Southern Indiana.

The truck show ranks in the top 20 of trade shows in the country, but is the largest of its kind in the world. The old contract had been in force about 20 years and extended several times, officials said. The 2010 show is scheduled at the Expo Center this Thursday, Friday and Saturday and was to be the last one under the expiring contract.

The trucking show expo is second in terms of the most visitors, with about 80,000 attendees, trailing to the roughly 100,000 who usually come to the National Farm Machinery Show held every year in Louisville. I have been to the farm show, and it is amazing, I’m sure the truck show is as well.

The First M.A.T.S. Parade of Lights Truck Convoy for Special Olympics in KY was GREAT!!!!!! What a way to end a wonderful show. 73 trucks and under the guidance of Corp Norm Schneiderhan and his team of Ambassadors and Highway Angels, along with the support of M.A.T.S.-Toby Yong, Land Line Magazine, KY Special Olympics Dave Kerchner, and of course the Louisville Police Dept. What an awesome sight that was.
