Ray TheHood RINO does not get it

It is obvious when one reads the United States Department of Transportation Secretary – Ray LaHood’s blog that he does not get it.

Ray TheHood is a perfect example of what a REAL RINO (Republican In Name Only) is.

Why continue to be in the republican party if you are a “libtard?”

Ray TheHood keeps touting that the DOT is creating all these jobs – problem is where are they? They want us to believe that by spending billions of dollars on high-speed rail that all these jobs are somehow magically going to appear.

While it is true that some jobs will be created but what they are not telling you is that most if not all these jobs that are to be created are union jobs.

The average unemployed construction worker will not be getting a job unless they are a part of the union.

Our own engineers graded all of our infrastructures – and gave us a D for an average – that is not good.

Rail however was given a C- grade while roads got a D-, but the DOT wants to spend all this money on HSR? Drinking water – is another infrastructure we have in the US, it received a D- for a grade as well, but we really need HSR?

Dams that are not safe and can and will cause life to be lost if they break received a grade of D. But, the Zero in the White House and all of his cronies want HSR?

The US energy grid received a D+ grade, but these fools in the White House want HSR? I guess I “don’t get it” I don’t see the reasoning for spending billions of dollars – we don’t have – on things we DON’T need.

The US DOT Secretary touts about all these jobs that will be created because of HSR – but we must spend billions of dollars to get these jobs and we are doing it on a “dream” that HSR will even succeed as we all know that Amtrak has not succeeded.

Recently in the trucking industry we learned that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) “manipulated” reports to make them in their favor. In an effort to rationalize a change in federal Hours-of-Service (HOS) requirements for professional truck drivers, the U.S. DOT’s (FMCSA) misapplied its own crash numbers so as to elevate driver fatigue as a cause of truck crashes. We also learned that the (FMCSA) had a field supervisor that has pleaded not guilty to a bribery charge, despite recordings of him agreeing to delay a carrier review or audit for cash. This government agency is under the direction of the US DOT Secretary Ray TheHood.

Recent reports on unemployment released on Feb. 4, show the unemployment rate to have fallen 0.4 percent to 9.0 percent in January 2011, even though only 36,000 non-farm jobs were created. The report further claimed the number of persons unemployed in January 2011 decreased by about 600,000, to 13.9 million people, while the labor force was unchanged.

The monthly unemployment rate report turned out by the BLS defines unemployment as those currently without a job who have actively looked for work in the prior four weeks and are currently available for work. This definition conveniently excludes from the definition of unemployed those who have grown so discouraged that they are no longer looking for work, as well as those who are considered under-employed because they have been forced to accept part-time or lower paying full-time employment because no other jobs are available.

Looking at the unadjusted data, the unemployment rate jumps to 17.3 percent for January 2011, not the 9.0 percent originally reported in the monthly BLS unemployment rate release.

Clearly the Obama administration will do anything possible – including manipulating data – to avoid having to admit to the American public that after having spent billions in stimulus funds and trillions in deficits, unemployment in the United States for January 2011 was 17.3 percent,” said Jerome Corsi of Red Alert, the premium online newsletter published by the current No. 1 best-selling author, WND staff writer and senior managing director of the Financial Services Group at Gilford Securities.

So, how are we supposed to “believe” Ray TheHood RINO at heart is not “manipulating” a few of these reports to show how many jobs the DOT will be creating? We saw in 2010 billions of dollars Ray TheHood wasted on ludicrous “needed” projects around the country – thanks to Senator Coburn and Senator McCain for their report “Summertime Blues.”

Ray TheHood’s blog is full of “fairy tale story’s” and outright lies, and one in particular “Tightening our belts, strengthening our future” I commented on, but obviously Ray TheHood doesn’t want the truth to be known, because he won’t publish my comment. EDIT: Funny, once this article got posted – my comment showed up on his blog…oh well it’s a shame to have to call people out these days.

So, here it is:

Tightening your belts – with Obama’s 2012 budget -Ray LaHood?

Where in this great budget is the plan to pay down the deficit? Or where is the plan to try and balance the debt?

All I hear is the same ole thing “Spend baby Spend” who cares how we are supposed to pay it back…blah, blah, blah!

When will you wake up Ray, 2012?

So Ray, when will you “get it?”
